Free 'Grow Your Own' Demonstrations at Pugh's Wenvoe
We are thrilled to be re-joining The Vale Food Trail 2026 and adding Pugh's Garden Centre in Wenvoe to their map of locations once again to offer a free activity for our local community which highlights the connection between food, wellbeing, and climate change.
Join us at Pugh's Garden Centre in Wenvoe on Bank Holiday Monday, 25th May where our team member Chrissy will be running free demonstrations for adults and children alike, to attend in our Garden Tipi! Chrissy will be showcasing how to successfully grow your own fruit and vegetables at home with hands-on examples and the opportunity for a Q&A session after each demonstration.
Demonstrations included are:
- Veg planter: Either cucumber or tomato
- Herb planter: Mixed edible herbs
- Fruit planter: Blueberry or strawberry
10 minutes per planter, with discussion about planting techniques, pros of planting and growing your own food etc.
10/15 minutes Q&A with Crissy after demonstration
All products used in the demonstration will be available for purchase after the demonstration
These sessions will be taking place at 10am, 12pm and 2pm. These demonstrations are free, but if you would like to come along, we ask that you please book your space in advance via this web page.
