Indulge in a Delightful Afternoon Tea at The Walnut Tree Café

Treat yourself to an Afternoon Tea experience at The Walnut Tree, our relaxing and inviting Café located inside Pugh's Food Hall, with the option to dine in our garden when the sun is shining! 

Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply treating yourself to something indulgent, our thoughtfully curated Afternoon Tea is the perfect treat for you and your loved ones.

Available every Monday-Friday 12pm-3pm and must be booked in advance using the online booking calendar below. Please note: Availability may vary on public holidays and seasonal opening days.

Your Afternoon Tea is £24.95 per head and includes:

• A selection of homemade sandwiches and savouries

• A decadent assortment of locally sourced patisserie

• Freshly baked homemade scones

• Unlimited tea or filter coffee and upgrade to prosecco for an extra £5 per person! Specialty coffees/alternative hot drinks are to be paid extra

Please note our Afternoon Tea is a set menu; we cannot take alteration requests outside of allergy requirements. Please see more info below. This is an adults menu. If you would like to bring a child/children with you, please do not include them in your booking numbers and instead speak to a member of our team before booking—either by calling 0292084800 or emailing ophillips@pughsgardencentre.co.uk.

​​​​We require 24 hours notice for an Afternoon Tea booking and a minimum of 2 people per booking. The cost of your Afternoon Tea will be taken at time of booking. As per our cancellation policy, if you do not arrive for your reservation or cancel within less than 48 hours notice of your visit, we reserve the right to charge you the full cost.

If you have specific dietary requirements, please detail these in the comments box during your online booking. You must have provided your dietary requirement details at time of booking (with no less than 24 hours notice) for us to be able to accommodate and we please ask that you speak to a team member regarding your dietary requirements prior to booking/attending to ensure we are able to cater.
