We have an exciting opportunity for four friendly and motivated individuals to join our loyal team at our vibrant and much-loved Garden Village in Radyr.

These seasonal positions are ideal for people who enjoy working with customers in a busy retail environment. Please note that these roles are predominantly till-based, so confidence in providing excellent customer service and handling transactions is essential.

About the Role

As a Seasonal Retail Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our shop during one of our busiest periods of the year by predominantly providing customer with their purchases at our till points.

Responsibilities include:

Providing friendly, welcoming customer service at all times
Operating tills and handling customer transactions accurately
Assisting customers with product enquiries and purchases
Supporting stock replenishment and maintaining high shop standards
Helping to keep displays tidy, attractive and well-stocked
Working flexibly across different indoor retail departments as required

What We're Looking For

We're looking for individuals who have:

A positive and friendly attitude
A passion for delivering excellent customer service
Confidence working in a busy retail environment
Strong communication skills
Reliability and flexibility, including weekend working
A willingness to learn and support the wider team
Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to work

Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Contract Details

4 x 12-hour contracts available
Seasonal contracts running from 10th October to 12th December
Weekend working is required
Shifts may be scheduled on any day from Monday to Sunday
Please note that should trading levels reduce earlier than anticipated, employment may end prior to 12th December.

Interviews

Interviews will be held from 17th August onwards.
