This National Children’s Gardening Week, join us at Pugh’s Garden Village Wenvoe for a very special celebration as we proudly support local young author Ellie May Jeffreys and the launch of her debut children’s book, Ellie May's Magic Compost.

Ellie May is a bright, passionate young nature-lover with a mission to make the world a better place. Despite undergoing major tongue surgery at 4 and continuing to navigate delayed speech development, Ellie has found powerful ways to communicate—through nature, creativity, and kindness.

Her idea for Ellie May's Magic Compost came from a vision to turn food waste into magical compost potions that help nourish plants, bugs, and the earth—showing how small actions can make a big difference. With the help of children’s book author Mark Jones, illustrator Chris Halls, and her incredible support team, Ellie has brought this beautiful idea to life.

Come meet Ellie, hear her inspiring story, and explore her magical world of composting, creativity, and caring for nature and her book launch at Pugh's Garden Village in Wenvoe. It’s a joyful, community event for the whole family!
